Port Elizabeth now Gqeberha, also known as ‘The Windy/Friendly City’, is one of the biggest cities in South Africa, and was one of the biggest tourist attractions during the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The Addo Elephant National Park is one of the attractions in Port Elizabeth as it is the only national park in the world to have the African Big Seven – the lion, rhinoceros, buffalo, elephant, leopard, great white shark and the southern right whale. It is a diverse wildlife conservation park.

 Other tourist attractions that can be visited are Route 67 which is an art and heritage site with 67 artworks, The Boardwalk, designed as an attraction where you get to enjoy yourself by having fun and shopping, and the Donkin Lighthouse for the city views from the top. The Bay also has beautiful beaches like Hobbie Beach and Shark Rock with a wonderful pier and beach restaurants. A great restaurant alongside the sea, is Coachman, a side ocean restaurant where you get to taste a mouthwatering platter while viewing the beauty of the ocean.
